Everyday Life

Where You Are Right Now

Have you ever wondered, ‘Why am I here?’ or ‘Why is this happening to me?’ It can seem that we’ve somehow ended up in a situation that we don’t deserve to be in and can’t get out of. However, have you ever thought that you’re meant to be in the situation you’re in?

I’ve been reading LaKesha Womack’s  book and in one passage she spoke about how we are where we are supposed to be. She explained that there are going to be situations that seem as though things are moving slow, or make us wonder why we are having to deal with it. Despite our feelings about it, we have to look at the bigger picture and notice that we are either suppose to learn something or we are getting prepared for whats to come by our current circumstances.

This hit home because lately I’ve been wondering about a few situations I’m dealing with lately. When I dwell on these things I can feel as though my situation is bigger than me and I can’t get out of it. However, when I start to look at the other side of the story I realized that even though my situation isn’t ideal I’ve been able to buy a car, save for a new computer, and grow professionally in a way that I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do before.

Even though my life is not where I ideally want to be, I understand why I’m at this point and it’s get pick skills for the next level. The answer to why one is in the situation there in sometimes right in front of them. All we have to do is step away from the problem and look around, and you will see that you are where you’re supposed to be.

I couldn’t say it better myself. As I mentioned I’ve started to see this in my own life and now I’m seeing it in the lives of my friends and family. It’s amazing to me how some situations that we think are going to stop us take us to that next level.

      Thanks for comment!

This speaks volumes. There is always a lesson to be learned at every stage in life. We can’t move forward until we have learned the appropriate lessons. At the same time we have to remember not to rush our dreams and goals and let them happen when they are supposed to happen.

I completely agree with you. I view my life that way too with every situation I’m in being a lesson that I need to master. I know that I’ve had to redo the patience lesson a couple of times, but I’ve gotten a lot better.

As you mentioned to we can’t rush anything, especially our dreams. If we do then we won’t appreciate them and the work it took to get there. So as you said ”let things happen” the way that they are supposed to happen.

One of the greatest joys as a writer is for someone to really get what you are trying to say… I am so happy that that passage spoke to you and where you are right now. I hope you continue to enjoy “Success Secrets for the Young & Fabulous”!

I’ve really enjoyed reading your book. It’s really put a lot of life situations and thoughts into perspective. When I read the passage that I wrote about in this post I was actually thinking about some personal situations and wondering why I was going through it. So I see it as a passage that I was destined to read that day.

Hopefully this post will help others and they can also get your book as well. Thank you!

Definitely get LaKesha’s book because I’m enjoying reading it. Part of me wants her to write a continuation of this book, if that’s possible, because I don’t want this one to end. She covers so many topics in this book that I’m sure that something will reach out to you like this part did for me.

I’m happy that you enjoyed this post and could relate to it! Thanks!

I’ve had to have this at the back of my mind these last few months. Some things just don’t pan out the way you expect it to and you get really down in the dumps about it and you just got to say to yourself “this is a dot that I’m going to eventually connect in my life. I might not know what it means now but I’ll keep the dot until I see the bigger picture.”
